Student Placement Opportunities

Placement opportunities are available for area students to learn and explore a wide variety of social service-related fields. 

Western and Affiliate Colleges

Basic Needs

Students learn about services available at our organization such as the Community Food Cupboard, Produce Market, Hot Meal Programming and so much more

Child and Youth

Students strengthen their skills working with children and yotuh in a therapautic setting such as developing and implementing daily programming, conflict resolution, and empathetic approaches.

Community Outreach

Students can learn the ins and outs of Government Services, paperwork, tax filing, and service navigation for individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty.

Western and Affiliate Colleges

Students from Western and Affiliate Colleges can immerse themselves in the multidisciplinary world of social services

Kinesiology

Kinesiology Students work closely with our Afterschool Program staff to create and implement activities focusing on health and physical activities for children 4-13.

Projects can include but are not limited to;

Physical activity booklet

Dance classes

Facilitating games

Knowledge sharing

Social Work

Social Work Students work closely with our Basic Needs and Advocacy department to learn the inner workings of all Crouch Basic Needs programming.

Navigating Homelessness
